How to Make Fish Cooked in Masala

  • Cut fish into slices.
  • Marinate for an hour in 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 1 tsp lime juice.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 2 mins
  • Add tomatoes and simmer for another 3 mins
  • Add tomato puree, all the powders and salt.
  • Cook till oil separates and add a cup of water
  • Add fish and cook till the fish is done
  • Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves
