Ingredients

  • 2lb - fish
  • 1 can - Coconut Milk
  • 3-4 - Dried red chillies
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1/4 - finely chopped Onion
  • 1/4 tsp - Tamarind concentrate
  • Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp- oil
  • How to Make Fish Curry with Coconut Milk:

    1. Wash the fish and smear salt and keep aside.
    2. In a blender, add the rest of the ingredients (except onions and tamarind) and grind until smooth.
    3. In a saucepan, put 2 tablespoons of oil and when hot, add onions and saute until brown.
    4. Add the blended mixture and bring to a boil.
    5. Add the tamarind juice or concentrate. Again bring to a boil and then add the fish. Bring to boil and cook until fish is done.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
