  • 10 pieces - fish
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/3 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 - Tamarind (gooseberry size)
  • 2-3 -small onions, if you don't get this then 1/4 cup big onion, cut to pieces
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 2-3 - Green chillies
  • 2 stems - Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - Coconut or other oil
  • How to Make Fish Curry With Coconut:

    1. Make a paste of the ingredients from coconut to ginger with enough water.
    2. In a saucepan, arrange the fish, green chillies, and curry leaves next to each other, and then pour the paste on it.
    3. The fish should be immersed in the paste.
    4. If this is not enough, add water till it covers the fish.
    5. When it boils, simmer it and cook for 10 minutes or till the gravy is thick enough.
    6. Pour oil around the gravy.
    7. Put some curry leaves and take it off the stove.
    8. Shake it a bit so that the oil spreads around the gravy.
