Ingredients

  • 400g - fish fingers, cut into bite-size strips
  • For the marinade:
  • 2 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 2 tsp - fresh black pepper paste
  • (prepared out of fresh pepper) or else use pepper powder
  • 3 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp - Mustard oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • For the batter and covering:
  • 2 - beaten eggs
  • 2 cups - bread crumbs
  • Oil - 4 tbsp (or more for deep frying)
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Fish Fingers with pepper:

    1. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the fish fingers; keep aside for 5 minutes.
    2. Prepare the batter by beating the eggs, spread the breadcrumbs on a plate, and heat the oil in a pan.
    3. Pick each of the fish fingers, dip it in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs, and fry each finger turning once or twice till crispy and golden brown.
