  • 4 pieces - King fish (vanjaram)
  • 3/4 tsp - chilli powder (Reduce or add as per your taste)
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - gingili oil
  • Curry leaves, a few
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • How to Make Fish fry mali fry:

    1. Clean and wash the fish thoroughly with turmeric powder and salt water.
    2. Mix chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice. Marinate the fish nicely with this mix.
    3. Put it in a freezer and marinate for 6-8 hours or overnight. The longer you marinate, the better.
    4. In a tawa, add 1 tbsp of gingili oil and when it is hot, add curry leaves and fry.
    5. Then, add fish and fry until it is crispy.
    6. Add more oil while frying.
    7. Flip at frequent intervals to ensure that it is crisp on both sides.
    8. This process will take 8-10 minutes on a medium flame.
    9. Squeeze lime and garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
