Ingredients

  • Fish - 1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves - few
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • 6 - Garlic flakes
  • 1/2 inch piece - Ginger
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp -turmeric
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 - Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Fish.
  • How to Make Fish in Methi and Garlic:

    1. Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric and put it aside for 1/2 an hour.
    2. Fry the fish until golden brown.
    3. Chop fenugreek as well as coriander leaves and grind them along with garlic, ginger and green chillies.
    4. Heat little oil in the pan and then add the ground paste and cook it lightly on low flame.
    5. Now add turmeric and coriander powder as well as some salt and cook it on low flame for few more minutes.
    6. Then add finely chopped tomatoes and cook it until ghee separates.
    7. Now add fried fish and cook for a few minutes more.
    8. Finally, add jeera and elaichi powder before serving.
