Ingredients

  • 2 - white fish fillets
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 - sprigs spring onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tbsp - cornflour
  • 3 tbsp- Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Fish in Mustard Sauce:

    1. Clean the fish fillets and cut them into serving pieces.
    2. Marinate the fillets with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside for 1/2 hour.
    3. Heat oil in a pan and then add the fish pieces. Cook by stirring it occasionally until the fish flakes easily.
    4. Remove and drain the fish fillets and arrange them in the casserole.
    5. Heat butter in a pan. Add cornflour and stir the mixture continuously until smooth.
    6. Add milk and stir. Cook till it thickens.
    7. Add salt and mustard and cook for 3-4 minutes before removing from fire.
    8. Pour the mustard sauce over the fillets.
    9. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
