Ingredients

  • 2 - white fish fillets
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 - sprigs spring onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tbsp - cornflour
  • 3 tbsp- Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Fish in Mustard Sauce

  • Clean the fish fillets and cut them into serving pieces.
  • Marinate the fillets with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside for 1/2 hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and then add the fish pieces. Cook by stirring it occasionally until the fish flakes easily.
  • Remove and drain the fish fillets and arrange them in the casserole.
  • Heat butter in a pan. Add cornflour and stir the mixture continuously until smooth.
  • Add milk and stir. Cook till it thickens.
  • Add salt and mustard and cook for 3-4 minutes before removing from fire.
  • Pour the mustard sauce over the fillets.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions.
