Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - fish, cut into thick slices
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 3 - tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 3 - onions, sliced finely
  • How to Make Fish in tomato gravy:

    1. Wash the fish and keep it aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions for a few minutes.
    3. Add the ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry for a few minutes.
    4. Add the tomato puree and vinegar and mix it well.
    5. Fry for a few minutes.
    6. Add 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
    7. Drop in the fish pieces and mix it well.
    8. Simmer on low heat till the fish is cooked.
    9. Serve it with bread or chapattis.
