Ingredients

  • 500 g - fish fillets
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 - large onion finely chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 - egg yolk
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil.

How to Make Fish Kebab for Starters

  • Wash the fish and boil it in water with salt for 5 minutes.
  • Cool and mash it coarsely.
  • Mix all the other ingredients (except the oil) with mashed fish.
  • Heat the oil in a shallow pan.
  • Take small balls of the mixture and form into cigar shaped cutlets.
  • Dip each one into a beaten egg, coat with the bread crumbs and finally shallow fry them till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
