Ingredients

  • 500 g - fish fillets
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 - large Onion finely chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 - Egg yolk
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil.
  • How to Make Fish Kebab for Starters:

    1. Wash the fish and boil it in water with salt for 5 minutes.
    2. Cool and mash it coarsely.
    3. Mix all the other ingredients (except the oil) with mashed fish.
    4. Heat the oil in a shallow pan.
    5. Take small balls of the mixture and form into cigar shaped cutlets.
    6. Dip each one into a beaten egg, coat with the bread crumbs and finally shallow fry them till golden brown.
    7. Serve hot.
