Ingredients

  • 300 g - fish fillets
  • 2 tsp - chopped Mint
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp - Butter
  • 1 - Egg beaten
  • Yolk - one Egg
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 3 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 cup - boiled and mashed potatoes.
  • How to Make Fish Patties:

    1. Wash the fish and cook in a little water with salt till the fish is cooked.
    2. Remove from the heat and cool.
    3. When cold, mash the fish with a fork.
    4. Mix in the mashed potatoes, mint, pepper, salt, tomato sauce, butter and the egg yolk.
    5. Form into oval or round shapes and flatten with a knife.
    6. Heat oil in a flat pan.
    7. Dip each fish patty in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs then shallow fry on both sides till brown.
    8. Serve.
