Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - any fleshy fish
  • 2 - onions
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp - lime juice
  • oil for frying
  • bread crumbs
  • salt
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 slice - bread

How to Make Fish Tikki Cakes

  • Boil the fish and remove the flesh. Shred.
  • Cut onions and chillies finely. Mix with fish, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice and salt.
  • Add the bread and mix all the ingredients properly.
  • Beat the egg till fluffy
  • Make small tikkis, dip them in the egg mixture and then the bread crumbs and shallow fry them.
  • Enjoy with onion salad.
