Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - any fleshy fish
  • 2 - Onions
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp - Lime juice
  • oil for frying
  • bread crumbs
  • salt
  • 1 - Egg
  • 1 slice - bread
  • How to Make Fish Tikki Cakes:

    1. Boil the fish and remove the flesh. Shred.
    2. Cut onions and chillies finely. Mix with fish, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice and salt.
    3. Add the bread and mix all the ingredients properly.
    4. Beat the egg till fluffy
    5. Make small tikkis, dip them in the egg mixture and then the bread crumbs and shallow fry them.
    6. Enjoy with onion salad.
