Ingredients

  • 2 cans - Tuna fish (drained)
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 - Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 - Tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1 - Green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 - Potatoes (mashed)
  • 1/2 tbsp - Soya sauce
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Fish Tumblers

  • Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions and fry it till lightly brown.
  • Next, add the tomato and green chilli.
  • After about 5 minutes, add the tuna fish and mix well.
  • Add the soya sauce, salt, chilli powder and pepper powder to your liking.
  • Turn off the heat and add the mashed potatoes - making a dough-like paste.
  • Let it cool until the paste is easy to work with.
  • Beat the egg and set aside.
  • Heat oil separately in a pan on medium low.
  • Form 1-inch balls out of the tuna mixture.
  • Dip it in the egg first and then cover it with the bread crumbs, before frying it in the oil.
  • Once they are lightly brown on all sides, take them and drain. Serve hot.
