Ingredients

  • 2 - fresh mangoes
  • 1 cup - orange juice
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 cup - tequila

How to Make Flaming Mangoes

  • Wash and peel fresh mangoes.
  • Cut each into 6 slices.
  • Place in skillet.
  • Pour over the orange juice and add sugar and heat the mixture.
  • After 3 or 4 minutes, pour over tequila.
  • Continue to heat.
  • Set the sauce alight by pouring a little tequila into a teaspoon and holding it over the flame until it ignites.
  • Pour the flaming tequila on top of the mangoes.
  • Serve over vanilla ice cream.
