  • Gajar - 1 Kg
  • Milk (full fat) - 1 Kg
  • Sugar (ground) - 300 g
  • Condensed milk- 200 g
  • Elaichi powder
  • Saffron flakes
  • How to Make Flavoursome Gajar Halwa:

    1. Peel gajar, wash them thoroughly and grind them in a grinder.
    2. Take a kadai or a pan. Add ground gajar and add enough milk to immerse it.
    3. Cook in high heat with occasional stirring till it boils.
    4. Now simmer, cook gajar on low flame with occasional stirring and keep on adding milk as needed.
    5. Cook till gajar has softened.
    6. Now add sugar, elaichi, condensed milk.
    7. Cook further till it becomes a soft ball. Add saffron flakes.
    8. Garnish with almonds and cashew nuts. Serve hot.
