Ingredients

  • par boiled Rice - 2 cup
  • black gram (urad) dal -½ cup
  • puffed Rice - 1 cup
  • cooked Rice - 1 cup
  • curds - ½ cup
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • oil to cook dosa
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Fluffy Dosa:

    1. Wash and soak rice and dal together for 4 hours.
    2. Grind together till smooth.
    3. Add puffed rice and cooked rice and grind again till smooth, and further add curd.
    4. Stir it with sugar and salt.
    5. Keep it covered over night.
    6. Heat a dosa tawa and brush it with oil.
    7. Pour a ladle of batter and spread very gently (this dosa is thick).
    8. Pour a little oil all round the dosa.
    9. Cover and cook on medium heat till done.
    10. Serve hot with chutney.
    11. (This dosa must not be inverted to cook the top side. So ensure that it is cooked on top before removing).
