  • par boiled Rice - 2 cup
  • black gram (urad) dal -½ cup
  • puffed Rice - 1 cup
  • cooked Rice - 1 cup
  • curds - ½ cup
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • oil to cook dosa
  • salt to taste

How to Make Fluffy Dosa

  • Wash and soak rice and dal together for 4 hours.
  • Grind together till smooth.
  • Add puffed rice and cooked rice and grind again till smooth, and further add curd.
  • Stir it with sugar and salt.
  • Keep it covered over night.
  • Heat a dosa tawa and brush it with oil.
  • Pour a ladle of batter and spread very gently (this dosa is thick).
  • Pour a little oil all round the dosa.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat till done.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
  • (This dosa must not be inverted to cook the top side. So ensure that it is cooked on top before removing).
