Ingredients

  • 5 squares - chocolate, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 - eggs, yolk removed
  • 1/2 cup - walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - cashew pieces
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 4 tbsp - cheese powder
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 3 cups - plain flour
  • 1/8 tsp - salt
  • 1.5 tsp - baking soda

How to Make Food Cake

  • In a pan, mix egg, milk and chocolate. Cook on slow flame till chocolate melts and mixture thickens.
  • Add cheese powder and cook till it melts into the mixture.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Add sugar, baking soda, salt and flour. Beat until smooth.
  • Add walnuts, cashew and vanilla essence. Mix well.
  • Pour into greased baking pan and bake for 30 mins at 250 degrees C.
  • Cool and top with icing before serving.
