Ingredients

  • 2 kg - Maida
  • 400 g - onions, chopped
  • 200 g - potatoes, boiled
  • 200 g - carrot, boiled
  • 200 g - Peas, boiled
  • oil/butter
  • For green chutney:
  • 2 bunches - Coriander leaves
  • 6 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 - Lemon juice
  • A pinch - Sugar
  • For Tamarind date chutney:
  • 500 g - Dates
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 5 to 6 - Tamarind
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Frankie and Green Chutney:

    1. Mix maida with water and a little salt to make a dough. Keep it aside for 1/2 an hour. Prepare rotis from it.
    2. Prepare a mixture of potatoes, peas and carrots. Add salt to it.
    3. Take a serving plate, place rotis on it. In the middle of the roti, put the mixture and then add onions.
    4. Pour green and tamarind chutneys on it.
    5. Fold it from both the sides.
    6. Put butter/ oil on a pan. Put frankie on it and cook it till it turns brown on both sides.
    7. Serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
