  • French beans - 1 packet
  • Tomato - 3 (Medium)
  • Onions - 1 (Medium)
  • Ginger - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • How to Make French Beans and Tomato Gravy:

    1. Chop french beans into thin long pieces.
    2. Chop the tomatoes, ginger and garlic into small pieces.
    3. Take 2 tsp of oil in a pan and add on the cumin seeds into it.
    4. Once it is roasted, add the chopped onions, ginger and garlic to it.
    5. Saute till golden in colour and add the tomatoes.
    6. Cook till it is soft and can be smashed. Add on the masalas and fry for two minutes till the gravy leaves the sides of the pan.
    7. Now add the french beans, salt, mix up and add half a cup of water.
    8. Lower the flame, cover the pan and leave it for sometime till it is cooked.
    9. This can be prepared without onions also and can be served with rice, chapatti or puris.
