Ingredients

  • 1 lb - Button mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 lb - Shitake mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 - large carrot, finely diced
  • 2 - stems celery, finely diced
  • 1 - red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 petals - garlic, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp - Olive oil or Butter
  • 1 pint - heavy Cream
  • 1/2 tsp - ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste

How to Make French Mushroom Soup

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  • Add garlic, onion, carrot, celery and saute well till the oil is drained.
  • Add mushrooms and cook them well.
  • Put the cooked mixture in a grinder and make a puree, adding heavy cream.
  • Bring the puree to a boil.
  • Add the seasoning and serve hot.
