Ingredients

  • 250 g - boneless Chicken pieces
  • 1 - large Potato
  • 1 - medium Onion
  • 1/2 cup - grated Coconut
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 2 tsp - ginger, grated
  • 8 - Garlic Cloves
  • 2 strands - Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 - eggs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying
  • How to Make Fried Chicken Cutlet:

    1. Cook the chicken pieces with little water and salt, cool and blend it without adding any water using a blender or mixie.
    2. Pressure cook the potatoes and mash it well
    3. Cut the onion, garlic cloves and green chillies into very thin and small pieces.
    4. In a pan heat a tbsp oil and fry the onion with curry leaves, garlic, ginger and green chilli pieces for 10 min.
    5. Add the coconut and fry the mixture till it turns to brown. Then add the chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric powder.
    6. When the mixture cools, add the blended chicken and mashed potato and mix well with required amount of salt. Shape into round flat cutlets.
    7. Beat the eggs well using an egg beater. Dip the cutlets into this and deep fry in oil.
