Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt and pepper
  • 3 lbs - chicken, cut
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • For gravy:
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 cup - Onion
  • 4 - Garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder or curry powder
  • 3 tsp- chilli pepper
  • 1 - medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves (cilantro)
  • 1/2 tsp- salt
  • 1 cup - Tomato sauce

How to Make

  • In plastic bag, combine flour, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper and shake it well to mix.
  • Add chicken to the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a large wok. Fry the chicken in hot oil, turning it brown all sides and drain.
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil for 30 to 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • Serve with hot rice.
