Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - flour
  • 1/2 tsp - salt and pepper
  • 3 lbs - chicken, cut
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • For gravy:
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 cup - Onion
  • 4 - Garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder or curry powder
  • 3 tsp- chilli pepper
  • 1 - medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves (cilantro)
  • 1/2 tsp- salt
  • 1 cup - Tomato sauce
  • How to Make Fried Chicken in Tomato Curry Sauce:

    1. In plastic bag, combine flour, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper and shake it well to mix.
    2. Add chicken to the mixture.
    3. Heat oil in a large wok. Fry the chicken in hot oil, turning it brown all sides and drain.
    4. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil for 30 to 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    5. Serve with hot rice.
