Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Maida
  • 2 tbsp - hot Ghee
  • Water as required
  • Cone shaped molds
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Paste for Sealing Cones:
  • 1/2 cup - Corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • For Filling:
  • 400 g - Green peas
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 200 g - Potatoes
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • 2 tsp - chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Fried Cones:

    1. Boil potatoes and chop into small pieces.
    2. Boil green peas with soda and salt and drain out water.
    3. Heat ghee and add jeera and ginger-garlic paste.
    4. Add remaining ingredients and prepare stuffing.
    5. Add ghee and salt in maida and prepare dough like puris, adding water as required.
    6. Roll each part into thin rounds and cut into triangular shapes.
    7. Roll over the moulds, place the moulds in hot oil and fry till light in colour.
    8. Separate cones from moulds carefully after they get slightly cold.
    9. Add water and salt to corn flour and prepare paste of medium consistency.
    10. Fill stuffing into the cones, seal with paste and fry in oil till light brown in colour.
