Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp - red chilli paste
  • 4 tbsp - cooking oil
  • 500 g - fish
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - vinegar

How to Make Fried Fish - All Types

  • Clean the fish and cut it.
  • If using mackerels or sardines, cut it into slits.
  • If using surmai, no need to slit.
  • Mix red chilli paste, turmeric powder, vinegar and salt, and apply it on the fish and keep aside for some time.
  • Coat the fish with bread crumbs or rava (optional).
  • In a flat frying pan, heat oil and lay the fish side by side to fill the pan.
  • Fry the fish on both sides until done.
