Ingredients

  • 1 kg - fresh fish
  • 400 g - onions
  • 5 pieces - green chilli
  • 2 - ginger paste big spoon
  • 1 tbsp - garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp -turmeric powder
  • 100 g - tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp - fish masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp -coriander seed powder
  • 2 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp - garam masala
  • 2 tbsp - cardamom seed
  • 2 tbsp - cinnamon
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves

How to Make Fried Fish Curry

  • Cut the fish into pieces and marinate them with salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and oil for half an hour.
  • Then fry the marinated fish pieces in oil till brown in colour.
  • Chop onions and tomatoes into very small pieces
  • Saute chopped onions with oil in a kadai till they become light brown in colour
  • Add tomatoes, ginger paste and garlic paste to it.
  • After few minutes, add fish masala powder, coriander seed powder, cumin powder, chilli powder (little), garam masala and salt to it
  • Once the onion tomatoes mixture turns brown in colour add the fried fish pieces to the onion and tomato mixture
  • Add water to it and let it to boil for 10 mins
  • After 10 mins add cardamom, cinnamon and coriander leaves
