  • 1 tsp - Mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 6 - 12 slices - fish (surmai, bangda, hisa, rui)
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required
  • How to Make Fried Fish Slices:

    1. Wash, clean and cut the fish into slices.
    2. Make a paste of chilli powder, turmeric powder, vinegar, salt and a little mustard oil.
    3. Apply it to the fish slices and keep aside for a while.
    4. Heat sufficient cooking oil in a flat frying pan.
    5. Slide the fish slices into the pan and fry on both sides until crisp.
    6. Remove excess oil and serve.
