  • Cauliflower florets from one medium sized Cauliflower
  • Besan (Chickpea flour) - 2 cups
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida - two or three pinches
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
  • A few Curry leaves
  • How to Make Fried Florets:

    1. Mix the besan with enough water, red chilli powder, hing, curry leaves and salt to taste.
    2. Add the washed florets to this and mix the ingredients well.
    3. All the florets should be covered with the besan flour. The mixture should not be too watery.
    4. Make small balls out of this mixture and deep fry. Serve hot.
