  • 1 cup - shelled dry Peanuts
  • 3/4 cup - gram flour
  • 2 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 1.5 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds, crushed coarsely
  • 1 tbsp - hot oil
  • 1 pinch - citric acid powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup - water (approximately)
  • oil to Deep Fried
  • How to Make Fried Peanut Crunchies:

    1. Mix all ingredients well, except peanuts.
    2. Add peanuts and coat them evenly with the mixture.
    3. Heat oil in a frying pan.
    4. Take a lump and drop coated nuts individually in the hot oil.
    5. Drop enough to use all oil.
    6. Fry on medium heat till light golden.
    7. Drain, place on absorbent paper to soak excess oil.
    8. Separate any nuts stuck together.
    9. When cool, store in airtight jars.
