  • 15 ounce can Pumpkin
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice Cream
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground Cloves
  • 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts or Pecans
  • How to Make Frozen Pumpkin:

    1. Soften the ice cream.
    2. Combine pumpkin and other ingredients.
    3. Fold ice cream with pumpkin mixture.
    4. Pour into a 9" by 13" pan.
    5. Top with chopped nuts.
    6. Freeze overnight.
    7. This can also be put together weeks ahead.
    8. Warm at room temperature slightly before serving so pieces can easily be cut.
    9. Top with whipped cream if desired.
