  • 2 slices whole meal bread
  • 1 tsp nutralite Butter or margarine
  • 1 peach, Apple or apricot, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fruit jam
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • How to Make Fruit toast:

    1. Melt butter in a pan and add the sliced fruit.
    2. Saute for 2-3 minutes or till the fruit begins to soften.
    3. Remove pan from the fire, add lemon juice and jam.
    4. Mix well and spread evenly on slices of whole wheat bread.
    5. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees C for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how crusty you want your toast to be. Serve hot.
