Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole meal bread
  • 1 tsp nutralite Butter or margarine
  • 1 peach, Apple or apricot, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fruit jam
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

How to Make Fruit toast

  • Melt butter in a pan and add the sliced fruit.
  • Saute for 2-3 minutes or till the fruit begins to soften.
  • Remove pan from the fire, add lemon juice and jam.
  • Mix well and spread evenly on slices of whole wheat bread.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees C for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how crusty you want your toast to be. Serve hot.
