Ingredients

  • 1/2 tin - sweetened condensed milk
  • 250 g - tofu (silken) or low fat paneer
  • 2 tbsp - skimmed milk powder
  • 50 g - fresh fruits, chopped into small cubes (apple, pear, grapes)
  • 1 tbsp - honey
  • silver varakh

How to Make Fruity Sandesh

  • Blend all the ingredients except fruit cubes, into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer to a thick bottomed pan and heat, stirring continuously.
  • Once the mixture is heated thoroughly, reduce the flame.
  • Cook on low fire, stirring continuously, for 15 minutes or till the mixture is dry enough.
  • Cool it slightly.
  • Add the chopped fruits and mix well.
  • Pour onto a greased plate. Leave to cool.
  • When cooled, place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Decorate with silver varakh, and garnish with chopped pista.
  • Cut into shapes and serve.
