How to Make

  • Cook the rice (each grain should be separate).
  • Heat the oil and add the urad dal, peanuts, red chillies and grated coconut and wait for an aroma to emanate. Powder the ingredients.
  • Heat oil again and temper with mustard seeds and jeera. Add the grated carrots and saute until the raw flavour goes.
  • Add the mixture and salt to the rice and mix well.
  • Garnish with fried cashewnuts and coriander leaves.
