  • 1 kg - Carrots
  • 750 ml - full Cream Milk
  • 250 g - Sugar
  • 5 - Cardamoms
  • 10 - Almonds
  • 10 - Pistachios
  • 12 - Cashewnuts
  • Saffron
  • How to Make Gajar ki Kheer:

    1. Boil the carrots till they are soft.
    2. Grind the boiled carrots along with the cardamoms to a fine paste and keep on a low flame. When it starts boiling, add the sugar.
    3. Keep stirring.
    4. Add the milk to this mixture in little amounts and keep stirring so that all the ingredients mix well and the kheer thickens.
    5. Garnish with saffron and small pieces of almonds, pistachios, cashews and boiled & grated carrot.
    6. Serve chilled.
