How to Make Garlic and Spinach Swirl Bread

  • Take the active dry yeast, salt and sugar in a lukewarm water. Leave aside for 5 minutes, until they turn foamy.
  • Meanwhile, take the flour in a large bowl. Make a well and add the foamy yeast and olive oil together.
  • Knead everything as soft and smooth dough. Arrange the dough in a greased bowl.
  • Keep in a warm place for two hours or until the dough doubles in volume.
  • Mix the butter, garlic cloves and salt in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Now, take the dough and roll as a thick square by dusting enough flour.
  • Spread the already prepared garlic butter over the rolled dough, topped with sauteed spinach leaves.
  • Press it and roll the dough as a loaf.
  • Arrange rolled loaf in a greased loaf pan and bake in middle rack for 25-30minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
  • Enjoy warm with a cup of tea or coffee for snacks.
