Ingredients

  • 2 - large plain Ciabatta Baguettes
  • 1 cup - full of Potato mash
  • 1 tsp - Salt, Black Pepper, Red Chilli powder, Turmeric, Garam Masala each
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • 6-7 Cloves - Garlic, minced
  • 1 - large Onion, chopped fine
  • 1 - Tomato, chopped fine
  • 1/2 - Bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup - Sweet Corns, thawed ( Optional )
  • 1/2 tsp - Oregano, dried Basil each ( for garnishing )
  • 1/2 cup - Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup - Chopped Spinach
  • How to Make Garlic Bread with potato layer - Indo Mexican:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, fry minced garlic till it turns brown.
    2. Mix all the spices with the potato mash.
    3. Add garlic oil and mix well.
    4. Keep it aside.
    5. Slice each baguette into oval pieces.
    6. Layer the potato mash over each of them.
    7. Sprinkle the chopped vegetables evenly pressing them with fingers into the potato layer so that they don't fall off.
    8. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees C for 12-15 minutes till the cheese melts.
    9. Sprinkle dried herbs on top and enjoy with tea or sauce of your choice.
