Ingredients

  • fish cubes (use Sear, Pomfret, Bekti or Sole) - 1/2 kg
  • Garlic - 6 flakes
  • Ginger - 3 cms
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Lime juice - 2 tbsp
  • curds - 3 tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • oil to brush

How to Make Garlic Fish Tikka

  • Wash the fish, drain and pat dry.
  • Grind garlic, ginger and green chillies with lime juice.
  • Mix it with curds, salt and pepper.
  • Pour this mixture over the fish and mix well.
  • Cover tightly and marinate over night in refrigerator.
  • Thread the fish pieces on skewers and place on a greased rack.
  • Cook under a hot grill, brushing it with oil a couple of times during grilling.
  • Serve hot with mint Chutney.
