Ingredients

  • 50 g - moong dal
  • 50 g - masoor dal
  • turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • For tempering:
  • 4 flakes - garlic
  • 2 tbsp - mustard oil
  • 2 g - cumin seed
  • 2 - red chilli whole
  • 1 pinch hing

How to Make Ghar Ki Dal

  • Mix dal and turmeric with salt.
  • Boil till dal is cooked. After boiling keep aside.
  • For tempering:
  • Heat oil. Add chopped garlic flakes, hing, cumin seed and red chilli.
  • After it turns into brown colour, add to dal.
  • Serve with boiled rice.
