Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 1 cup
  • Onion, sliced - 2
  • Tomato, sliced - 1
  • Sliced garlic cloves - 5
  • Sliced Green Chillies - 3
  • Coconut milk powder - 6 tbsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch
  • Cloves - 1
  • Water - 2 cups or less
  • Curry leaves
  • Ghee - 2 tsp.
  • Oil - 2 tsp

How to Make Ghee Rice in Coconut Milk

  • Soak rice in water for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare coconut milk with 2 cups of water. Set it aside.
  • Take a frying pan, pour 2 tsp of ghee & slightly fry the soaked rice.
  • Take pressure cooker, heat oil, fry cinnamon, cloves, then add onion & garlic and fry it.
  • Add green chillies, tomatoes, curry leaves & fry it.
  • Add the coconut milk, add salt to taste & allow it to boil.
  • Now add the fried rice & cook for 1 whistle.
  • Serve it with Chips & Raita.
