Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - tender Gherkins
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Gherkins (Ivy Gourd) Fry

  • Wash the gherkins and cut them into thin slices.
  • Mix them with the salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the gherkins till brown and crisp.
  • Serve with rice as a side dish.
