  • 1/4 cup - margarine
  • 1/2 cup - Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup - dark Molasses
  • 3.5 cups - flour
  • 1 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp - Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • How to Make Ginger Bread Easter Bunny Cookies:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Blend the margarine and sugar until creamy, then beat in the molasses.
    3. Sift together the flour, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon and ginger.
    4. Add the dry ingredients to the margarine mixture in three parts alternating with water.
    5. The dough will be stiff; you may need to work in the last third of the flour with your hands.
    6. When done, the dough should spring back when pressed.
    7. Roll the dough to any thickness you like, directly onto a non-stick cookie sheet.
    8. Cut out bunny rabbits with a cookie cutter.
    9. Bake for 8 minutes or longer, depending on thickness.
