Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 2 tbsp - Garlic
  • 100 gm - Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - ajinomoto
  • 300 gm - Onions
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - orange-red color
  • 1 tbsp - soya sauce
  • 1 lime, Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • salt as require
  • 1.5 cup- oil
  • salad and Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Ginger Chicken

  • Cut the chicken and marinate it with lemon juice, soya sauce, coloring and salt for 2 hrs.
  • Grind together ginger, garlic and onions and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown and keep aside.
  • Reheat oil.
  • Add ground paste and fry till fragrant.
  • Add chilly powder, ajinomoto, vinegar, pepper powder and tomato sauce.
  • Add salt and chicken and stir till chicken pieces are well coated with the gravy and allow it to cook.
  • You can also add chicken stock and cook.
  • Garnish with salad and coriander leaves and serve.
