Ingredients

  • 200 g - Goa sausages
  • 200 g - Potatoes, cubed
  • 2 tsp - chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1 small ball - Tamarind
  • 2 - Medium onions
  • 1 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 6 cloves - Garlic
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 3 - Tomatoes

How to Make Goa Sausages Dry

  • Make the curry paste with all the masala powders and tamarind pulp.
  • Mince the remaining items for frying.
  • Slice the onions, tomatoes and keep separately.
  • Put cooking oil in a dekshi and heat it, then fry sliced onions.
  • When brown, fry the other minced masalas.
  • When it has changed colour, put the cut tomatoes in the dekshi and fry.
  • Then add the curry paste and some water. Add in cubed potatoes.
  • When the potatoes are almost cooked, add the goa sausages - cut into small pieces - and fry.
  • Add a little hot water if needed.
  • Finally, add in more salt and vinegar, if needed.
