How to Make Goan style baked fish - with green masala
Wash fish thoroughly and cut into 2 inch pieces.
In a blender, add all the ingredients for marination (except for oil) with 2 tbsp water and blend it to a paste of medium consistency (green masala), the paste should neither be too thick nor too watery.
In a bowl, slide in the fish and mix well with the green masala paste and 1 tbsp oil. Marinated the fish for 45 minutes in a refrigerator.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degree F. Arrange the fish pieces on a flat baking tray, cook for 15 minutes on one side; turn on the other side and cook for another 10 minutes. Separate the leftover marination mix and keep it aside.
Heat a non-stick skillet and cook the leftover marination to a thicker consistency.
Place the fish pieces on a plate and top it with the sauce.
