Ingredients

  • Goat Meat - 1 Kg
  • Onion- 5 -6 (big)
  • Tomato - 2 (big)
  • Garlic - 12-15 Cloves
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Green Cardamoms- 8
  • Clove -8
  • Cinnamon sticks- 4
  • Bay leaves- 4
  • Black pepper -1 tbsp
  • Big Cardamoms - 4
  • Cumin seed powder -1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil 6 - 8 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander for garnishing.
  • How to Make Goat Meat Curry:

    1. Clean the meat thoroughly and remove the excess fat.
    2. Cut the onions and tomatoes into very small pieces.
    3. Heat oil in a large pan, add the bay leaves and the dry whole spices and fry for 1 min. Keep stirring.
    4. Add the onions and fry till brown, then add the tomatoes, ginger, garlic and the meat along with the turmeric.
    5. Stir well and fry till the water dries up and the meat turns dark brown.
    6. Add boiling water as per the required consistency of the curry and pressure cook until tender.
    7. Add salt and garnish it with coriander
    8. Serve hot with rice, chapatti / paratha or puris.
