Ingredients

  • Goat meat - 1 Kg
  • Onion- 5 -6 (big)
  • Tomato - 2 (big)
  • Garlic - 12-15 cloves
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Green Cardamoms- 8
  • Clove -8
  • Cinnamon sticks- 4
  • Bay leaves- 4
  • Black pepper -1 tbsp
  • Big cardamoms - 4
  • Cumin seed powder -1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil 6 - 8 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander for garnishing.

How to Make Goat Meat Curry

  • Clean the meat thoroughly and remove the excess fat.
  • Cut the onions and tomatoes into very small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a large pan, add the bay leaves and the dry whole spices and fry for 1 min. Keep stirring.
  • Add the onions and fry till brown, then add the tomatoes, ginger, garlic and the meat along with the turmeric.
  • Stir well and fry till the water dries up and the meat turns dark brown.
  • Add boiling water as per the required consistency of the curry and pressure cook until tender.
  • Add salt and garnish it with coriander
  • Serve hot with rice, chapatti / paratha or puris.
