How to Make Gobi ka achar

  • Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Wash them nicely and air dry for 4-5 hours.
  • Take florets in a mixing bowl, first add the vegetable oil and then turmeric powder, chilli powder, methi seeds, mustard seeds, salt, garam masala, garlic paste and lime juice.
  • Mix nicely with a spatula and keep it aside for 24 hours.
  • Check if the salt and lime juice is to your taste and add a little more if required.
  • Store in refrigerator for freshness.
  • You can also grate some carrot into it (optional).
  • It tastes good with rice and chapatti.
