Ingredients

  • 1 - medium Cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 - chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp - Ginger - Garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • oil as needed
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Gobi Masala:

    1. Boil cauliflower florets in salted water and add half of turmeric powder till it is half cooked.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute till brown.
    3. Add in ginger/garlic paste, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, remaining turmeric powder and salt.
    4. Stir thoroughly for a while.
    5. Now add tomato puree and saute it till oil separates.
    6. Add half - cooked cauliflower florets and cook for 5 to 10 minutes in medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
