Ingredients

  • 20 - Small golden fish
  • 2 tbsp - Crushed garlic
  • 4 - Cut green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - cut coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - Dhania-jeera powder.
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarind pulp - 3 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp

How to Make Golden Fish Tikala

  • Clean the fish and apply salt, turmeric, chilly powder and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a flat bottom pan.
  • Add garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the fish and stir it for a minute.
  • Add 1/2 a cup of water.
  • When it boils, add tamarind pulp along with dhania-jeera powder and coriander leaves and cut green chillies.
  • Boil till the fish cooks.
  • Serve with boiled rice.
