Ingredients

  • 1 cup - stem-free Gongura leaves
  • 4 - Red Chillies
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  • A pinch asafetida
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 4 tsp - sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Gongura leaf chutney:

    1. In a pan, heat oil and fry all the ingredients except mustard.
    2. Grind to make a coarse paste. Temper mustard seeds separately and add to the chutney.
    3. This chutney can be had with rice or dosa.
