Ingredients

  • 250 g - seedless black and green Grapes
  • 1/2 - apple, diced
  • 1 - medium Capsicum
  • 2 tsp - Mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - sesame seeds
  • For dressing:
  • 1 tbsp - golden or treacle syrup
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • 1 - tiny green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - mustard paste
  • 1 tbsp - eggless mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp - light Olive oil

How to Make Grape, Apple & Capsicum Salad

  • Roast capsicum over direct flame till skin chars. and put it in a plastic bag, to sweat.
  • Peel the black portion and keep it aside.
  • Chop grapes into half vertically, dice apple into cubes.
  • Whip the ingredients for the dressing with a small balloon whisk till opaque and frothy.
  • Put fruit in a bowl, sprinkle sesame over them.
  • Pour prepared dressing over fruit, toss lightly to blend flavours.
  • Serve cold and garnish with salad leaves or coriander leaves.
