Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken, cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp - garlic ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - green chilli paste/chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • 3 tbsp - oil or butter
  • 2 tsp - chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chopped garlic
  • salt to taste

How to Make Green Chilli Chicken Fry

  • Marinate the chicken with salt, vinegar, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and chilli paste/sauce, keep aside for an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan, saute the chopped garlic and green chillies for about 3 minutes.
  • Add the marinated chicken and mix well.
  • Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the chicken changes colour.
  • Add a little water and simmer, until the chicken is tender and the water dries up.
  • Add one more spoon of oil or ghee and mix well.
  • Serve with rice or bread.
