How to Make Green Chilli Thokku

  • Soak tamarind in water and keep it aside.
  • Slit the green chillies.
  • Keep oil in a pan and heat it, splutter mustard, add fenugreek, curry leaves, green chillies and saute them till it turns brown.
  • Then add the tomatoes, tamarind water, chilli powder, salt and mix them well and saute them.
  • Keep on stirring and when it becomes a thick paste and when the oil separates, take it off from the stove and allow it cool.
